by SKT168 w/ contributions from Supervolcano ** Updated 7/18/2010 ** Missions Overview Missions are a way to earn money and gain experience. Every mission has a different prerequisite that may include:
Missions Strategy One thing to keep in mind is that units used in missions are also subject to loss as casualties. This is important to consider as the cost of replacing some of the higher priced units used in a mission may exceed the money earned from the mission itself. In general, if your goal is to maximize money from missions, then focus on the Money / Energy value of the mission. If your goal is to maximize experience points, then focus on the Exp / Energy value of the missions. It is worth noting that "Scout Out Enemy" requires only 35 energy but offers one of the best Exp / Energy values. Depending on your playing strategy, it may not make sense to invest additional skill points in energy. Missions Table The following is a list of available Missions in World War.

Curious if anyone knows why the Missions Tab #9 is listed (everywhere I've looked) as a question mark. Is it randomized or is there a fixed number of skill points (6?) earned with this Rank 1 mastery?

Where can I find the information in the spreadsheet (cash per hour minus upkeep)?
On the missions tab there is only information about the max cash per day per mission, but I didn't see a figure, where the upkeep for the required units is subtracted. |

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough.
I don't mean wasted upkeep, but actual net profit from a mission. On the dashboard I have all my current units. On the missions sheet I saw those three columns you mentioned, but they only include wasted upkeep. What I was interested in is my ROI on any mission, so e.g. one mission might yield a higher average cash return, but the units needed to do that mission could have a upkeep of 20.000 per hour. Another mission might have a cash return of 15.000 less than the previously mentioned mission, but require only units, that don't have upkeep at all. In this example the second mission would yield the higher ROI. Is there any way to find that information in this worksheet? |

But in my opinion, that isn't really as useful to know as the columns I currently have, since if you are currently using the required units in your battles anyways ... then there is no opportunity loss (wasted upkeep) for doing that particular mission ... and your decision should be based on that instead of the raw number that doesn't include wasted upkeep. |

Thanks for the explanation.
You're right about the units, that are being used in battles anyway. At the moment my priority is simply to raise cash as quickly as possible and therefore I only want to do missions, that give me the highest net return per energy point. Since some of the units needed for these missions have a higher upkeep than the most efficient units for defense/attack I keep them only to be able to do these missions. But I wanted to see, if I should maybe switch to other missions, that don't require these "inefficient" units. What is a generally advisable percentage of upkeep, at the moment I'm running at 15% at level 21. |

Though I'm sure many others have found this, I just cleared Rank 1 on Tab 9 and was awarded 6 skill points. I've attached a screen shot. Great work on these forums, thanks for your efforts!
