This forum is now closed indefinitely as I can no longer support the deceitful and predatory tactics, removal of strategy, lack of willingness (or is it their ineptitude) to fix bugs, and most all the endless and excessive greed which Storm8/TeamLava/Firemocha is displaying .... especially when it's TeamLava brand name is highly geared to KIDS who are feeding off their PARENT'S WALLETS!

For those who haven't figured it out yet, the straw that broke my back was Storm8's recent decision that making money (to the tune of $1,000,000 in a single day's revenue on June 1st, 2011 as bragged about in a recent Storm8 Press Release on their own website) is more important than maintaining their one and only strategic balacing feature ... skill points ... which until "skill point reallocation" (which is coming soon) has held everyone accountable for the personal sacrifices their character decided to make to achieve their personal long term strategic goals ... as well as destroying the integrity of what a skill point means which kept a little bit of balance between paying and non-paying customers ... now that you can buy extra skill points above and beyond what can be earned through your game play.

Until now, real life cash could only buy "time", meaning a paying player could get something "quicker" than it normally takes a free player to get the same thing.

Now, that real life cash can literally buy you "extra skill points" which directly means more character power that cannot be earned freely by time spent playing.

The current trend is that there will be another 36-39 extra skill points made available every 4 weeks. That's $40 per month PER GAME ($360 per month if you like to play all 9 Storm8 games) just to keep up with the other players who are buying the maximimum skill points available.

Just how much are you willing to spend on a fucking iPhone Game to remain balanced and competitive with the rich people who have bottomless wallets and/or the cheaters who have found ways to illegally obtain their honor points far cheaper than the price Storm8 normally charges their customers (like via stolen credit cards and cheap Chinese iTunes Gift Cards)?

When is it going to be "too much" for you?

How much more cash will you WASTE, before Storm8 takes you TO YOUR threshold?
